by The Bombay Royale

Lovers of Bollywood-inspired surf rock should be very excited, because The Bombay Royale’s latest album takes you on a sonic safari through lush landscapes to muddy swamps and everything in between. The Island Of Dr Electrico is an incredible showcase of the unique brand of vintage surf rock the band has made its own. Parvyn Singh’s elegant vocals are sometimes mysterious, and at other times driving and direct, keeping you totally engaged. And Parvyn’s vocals are beautifully matched by male vocalist Shourov Battacharya, as they were on the band’s debut album You Me Bullets Love. The Island Of Dr Electrico is first class from start to finish, but a few songs to listen out for are Wild Stallion Mountain and The Bombay Twist. The perfect album to get a party started, you won’t be able to stand still for long listening to this one. Again, a fantastic album from a seriously talented Melbourne group with a bright future ahead!
