As part of PBS 106.7FM's Live Music Week, Clairy Browne & The Bangin' Rackettes, The Breadmakers and Harmony teamed up for a special live broadcast from Cherry Bar between 8:00 & 11:30pm.
Harmony are a reasonably new outfit with an all star cast featuring members of Nation Blue, The Ukeladies and Shooting At Unarmed Men to name a few... expect a harmonious racket embedded in structured intensity. The Breadmakers err the mood towards their own infectious brand of authentic R'n'B garage, followed by Clairy Browne & the Bangin’ Rackettes setting their own scene - sinful shake 'n' grind, late night dirty dancing and slick backs and wild, wild women. Host Ken Eavel and DJ Pierre Baroni were the glue between sets.
A foot stompin' night of raucous r'n'b, sweaty dancehall, intense melody and big band beats.
